Step 1

Preparing

We begin by removing any old silicone or fitting new trim as needed. Next, we carefully mask all surrounding areas to ensure that glass, walls, and nearby surfaces are fully protected from overspray.

All opening window sashes and door furniture are then removed to achieve a flawless, factory-quality finish across every surface. Once that’s done, we thoroughly clean and key the surfaces to prepare them for painting.

Our team then mixes the specialist 2K paint and sets up the spraying equipment. After blowing away any remaining dust or debris, we begin the precise spray application to deliver a smooth and durable finish.

Step 2

Spraying, Drying & Re-Fitting

We begin by applying three coats of paint to the removed sashes, followed by the rest of the frames. This allows the sashes extra drying time before being handled during refitting.

Once painting is complete, we carry out a thorough quality inspection before carefully de-masking all openings and sashes. The sashes are then reinstalled, and the remaining masking is removed.

When the surfaces are dry enough, we apply a new colour-matched sealant (if the trim hasn’t been replaced). After just 1–2 hours, your windows can be closed and operated as normal.

Step 3

Aftercare & Cleaning

Now that your windows look brand new, it’s worth keeping them that way! We recommend allowing the paint to fully cure for 7 days before scheduling your next window clean.

Your window cleaner can safely use pure water systems on both the glass and the uPVC frames. Avoid any solvent-based cleaning products, as these can damage the coating — most eco-friendly, water-based detergents are perfectly suitable.

With regular maintenance, your uPVC coating can last 10 years.
